From memory - You essentially get a button to enable PTT from the steering wheel and hands (sort of) free talk with an external mic.
Not enough to justify a change IMO

I have a GME TX6150 5w that has been pretty much only used while touring with the van, ( and playing Pit Boss at the odd Off Road Race)

I fitted an XRS in the 90 as we needed another unit, it’s good, works well and clear.
In the D4 I have 2x commercial GME units.
CM60-U25S-P25
and a
TX33820UB
In the D2, I’ve just removed the now 21 year old GME 40 channel that’s still going strong.
