best MIMO solution for caravan router?

I have purchased a second hand Netgear M2 router to use in my caravan when TV reception is poor and Cell Towers are some way away, with the aim of communications and TV streaming.
I have bought a Boost PAYG SIM so the router will work on the entire Telstra network.
My question is whether an Omni directional MIMO antenna would be better or a directional MIMO antenna.
I think from my research that I can buy an app that will give me the relative position of the nearest cell tower to my location and in fact Google maps shows them ( if the example near my location is widespread).
Appreciate thoughts and experience but please no Starlink suggestions as it is above my salary level.

Appreciate experience on reasonably priced antennas that work well if there is such a thing . Not in the market for $500 antennas.

The antenna would be mounted on a 4+ metre telescopic pole that I also use for my TV antenna with good results. I pull TV in from up to 70-80Km.

Second semi unrelated question. Why on earth does my Iphone when on Wi-Fi calling revert to my Optus NBN Wi-Fi when I have the phone tied to the NetGear modem and the Optus Wi-Fi not enabled. I even have to reenter the password to get back into the Optus router. It's got me stumped but it may not be a problem when I am away from home. But it prevents me from entering the Netgear M2 from the Netgear phone app. Maybe I have to reset network settings but who knows. I have spent hours on this crap so far.

I have used a M5 Nighthawk with twin van roof antennas, now, in the bus, a M6 Pro without external antenna. It will be interesting to see the difference..

I use these guys pretty much exclusively..

    Antennas

The front roof of the bus already has 5 antennas,, still wondering what all of them are for...
