Follow up. Does anyone know of a source for knobs foe classic hifi? One of my Sansuis is missing one, and boy are they unobtanium.
Some years ago I got a job lot of old hifi stuff. Amongst this was a Stereoscope R340B Receiver. No, I hadn't heard of them either, but some research shows it to be basically a slightly budget Marantz 2245. As I'm not able to do a whole lot at the moment I thought I'd give it a freshen up and service ( why I want a dim bulb tester ). It's not too bad in general, some new caps will work wonders. But the faceplate... Not bad either, but the printing is coming off. Is it maybe screen printing or something? I know nothing about that stuff. Pix.

The thing is not worth Marantz money ( yet ) so I won't spend big on it. Anyone know how or where I could get it done?

Can't help with the knobs but I used to use Letraset for restoring face plates. These days I suppose one of the laser printer dry transfer papers.

Just a guess, but could it have been screen printed?
If you don't like trucks, stop buying stuff.
I guarantee it was originally, but that's a bit "difficult" for a home repair.
