    What's a bit of extra heat in the voltage conversion when the outside temp. is 40C as it was when I did the Simpson last year. I used the cheap Jaycar can shaped inverter and used it for my Uniden, SONY cameras and laptop all OK. When you have many different low DC voltage devices, an inverter is the easy way, just don't spill your beer on the inverter!

    our ausus laptop would not run on 150 watt we bench tested it in store 300 watt works great
