Yes you completely missed the joke. :(

If you turn on either band of CB radio particularly in Metro areas, all you seem to get is chatter from what can only be described as morons, in the intelligence quotient sense, uttering mindless banter most of which relates to their genitalia or animalesque noises.

I agree with having dual band CB radios, I have one in my RRc. Along with the Codan HF.

Yeah mine usually stays off (Take the antennas off too) when around town - Total waste of time. Ham radio is much more friendly for around town nattering. (VHF/UHF/HF) - <<another blatent plug for amateur radio - get on board it's easy now - vk3gps!>>

i have a pair of UHF's and a 27mhz set in my falcon (dont ask.....) and yes, the UHF's get turned off in town unless theres someone who deserves some abuse!
