Annoying Car Bluetooth drop out on connection

Wondering if anyone has a Parrot v 5.10c in their car? I have one in my daily driver (Audi A3) and pair it with a Nokia 6120c, however when I jump in the car and drive, the radio mutes itself twice when connecting to the phone Now fine when a call comes in or I make one as the radio mutes as it should but it anoys the hell out of me that it has to do this everytime it connects when I get in the car and has to mute the radio twice. I have updated the software on the phone which has made the second drop out in sequence slightly shorter but why does it have to mute at all when connecting.

Hoping a bluetooth, Nokia, Parrot guru can help.

    Aye, Mick

Try turning the bluetooth OFF on your phone before starting the car and only turning it ON once you have started the car and the Parrot has started fully.

Unfortunately the same thing......2 drops outs to connect to the system. Others have suggested it may be the nokia phone but who knows.

Thanks for the suggestion though, Mick

I notice mine does the same thing (different brand of phone though), the only way I have found too fix it is as i said by not turnning the phone bluetooth on until the parrot has fully started (normal 20/30 secs).

    Oh well.

Try emailing parrot, have found them helpful in the past !
