    Parrot car kits?

Is anyone running a 3200 car kit here? I'm a bit concerned by reports (On the US forums) about problems with the colour display in the heat, so don't fancy subjecting them to a WA summer unless someone is already running one and knows it can cope?!

I was running one in Brisbane I only had it removed because the connection would drop out now and then depending on phone brand. Nokia worked better than Sony Ericsson, but having said that my wife has the entry model in her car and her kit drops her Nokia phone sometimes.

We run a fleet of about 30 3100's and 10 or so 3200's. No problems with any of them, full stop.

From a reliability point of view they get the thumbs up from me.

Excellent, thanks. I've had one shoip over here say they don't like fitting the 3200's due to screen prob, but another say they've had no issues!

Mind you, as the things are $300 here ($400 fitted) and US$140 on Amazon.com, I may import one and fit it myself!

had the parrot in my work van for a couple of years......absolutely fantastic.it gets hammered..about 20 to 30 calls every day, wouldnt be without it.

find it suits motorola phones better than nokia.

the heat in the car doesnt seem to affect it.

never dropped out never had an issue....they are expensive but you only get what you pay for

    cheers

Just in case anyone else is interested, I've been pointed to a cheap source of the interface leads. These are D3 specific, but the company does others, obviously.

Have a look at the thread over on Disco3.co.uk
