Help with Eurovox original Radio, CD stacker

I was wondering does anyone have one of these. I cut the power to it and typed in a few wrong numbers because I was reading the wrong code and the wrong card I got with the car when I bought it. I have right the code for it now but cant put it in now because it has 3 dashes on its screen. can these radios be reset so I put the proper code in?

They usually need to be left connected to power for a few hours before they will allow you to re-enter the code.

    coding eurovox radio

I have similar problem in that the number buttons on the head unit some times did not work. You basically have to have the unit on for a longer enough time that it will reset and ask for the code again. Takes about an hour. I gave up on it myself and am just wiring in a new head unit
