Thread: Missing Code for Radio/Cd Player

I've asked this Q of many, but have never received an answer aside from 'buy a new radio/cd player'.

When I bought my Disco it had no paperwork with it and no code for the radio . . . I've had no answer as such from Land Rover themselves so don't know if it is possible in any way to work out/find out what the code is to make the radio work [the cd player was removed prior to purchase] . . .

Anyone have any idea if there IS anything I can do aside from have it replaced?

Assuming you have the standard LR/Eurovox radio, you can just type in 1111 or 111111 depending on the model radio. That will get it working for 5 minutes.

Or, call a dealer & see if it's listed against your VIN (you'll just need to give them the last 6 digits).

If that fails, then you'll need to get the serial number from the back of the radio & the code can be obtained that way.
