    Bluetooth Phone

Today I picked up a new D3 and it was supposed to be fitted with the LR genuine phone kit, but inadvertently, a Parrot 3200 LS-COLOR was fitted instead. The dealer is happy to make the swap in the next couple of weeks when the roof-rails get fitted.

What I'm trying to work out did I accidentally get a good deal or is the OEM kit better?

    Cheers

    Bob

I would check if your phone works with OEM.
Not all phones work as they are not all compatible although one would think bluetooth is bluetooth.

The factory one will run via your stereo speakers and after market has its own from what I have been told.

I like factory if it works. Less bits hanging off everywhere.

    Thanks big guy

I just did a price check and the aftermarket jobbie is about a third of what we were charged for the LR one.

I'll definitely be asking for the Real McCoy now.

    Cheers
