    BAINTECH Universal DC Socket Power Board

    Just wondering if anybody has installed one of these boards.Just looking to put power in the rear of the defender and this looks like a great option.

    Just looking for feedback of this product and also if you have purchased any other of there products.

    I will be contacting them tomorrow for a price and info.

    It looks like a tidy little unit, but for me at least it would all come down to cost. In my experience these items generally cost quite a bit for what are, effectively, a bunch of sockets that can be picked up pretty cheaply in most boating/4x4 stores.

    You are right mike No change out of $250 .

    4X sockets at 17 bucks each
    1 fuse holder at 13 bucks

    a bunch of fuses from sams warehouse for 2 bucks

    1 peace of plywood, from the garden shead

    wire from an old flex cord.


    Vola, fridge, charger for the lantern and 2 fluros

    Honestly, this is the way I'd be going too. A few sockets at about $15 each, a fuse holder or breakers from jaycar, all mounted on black perspex or a piece of aluminium. As good as, if not superior to, the $250 items that you see online.
