    Turn Off AVG

Does anyone know how to turn AVG off other than de installing it. I am slowly reloading everything onto my PC after an issue and I cannot reinstall my printer as it requires all anti-virus software to be disabled.

I have searched and searched but cannot find a menu in AVG to disable it.

    Thanks

Little icon bottom right corner, right click (?), should be a disable option.

The only way to properly "exit" AVG is to temporarily disable it:

In Edition 9 they removed the exit or disable function on the tool bar. You now have to open the interface and disable each separate scanning function then save and close. Once your software install is done open and enable each function.

One Icon only and no disable function - even AVG user interface - there was one in older versions but not in the latest versions.

Thanks Ferret and Cockie 55 - that is it - still not straight forward though but works.

    Cheers
