The DSi games are aimed at a younger market, say < 14yo.

    My son is 8.

He and all of his friends that I know of, have a DS.

It seems to be the more popular choice for the younger kids.

If anyone wants to know anything about Pokemons or Bakugans, he's your man.

You can also get what's called an R4 cartridge which takes a MicroSD card and you can transfer all of their games, movies and music onto the one cartridge and can also back it up. It means they don't have to fiddle about leaving game cartridgeds all around - or losing them.
