I have a WNR2000 and my Netgear PAP2 ATA is connected to the 3rd port and I have no problems with it.
I have just changed my wireless router to a Netgear WNR2000 to try to increase my wireless speed a bit.
My setup also includes a Netcomm V300 VOIP ATA, and Siemens Speedstream 4200 ADSL modem.
From the modem, the first connection in line is the WNR2000 and then the ATA comes off from one of the LAN ports.
This arrangement worked well with my previous wireless router.
With the new router, an interesting but frustrating problem has appeared.
When making phone calls, after 3min and 30secs exactly, the VOIP stops working. I can redial the number and reconnect immediately, so it doesn't appear to be a line-fault.
If I rearrange the equipment so that the ATA is the first connection after the modem, and the router comes of the ATA LAN port, it doesn't drop out.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you have it set up with porting or anything special in the soft settings?
I have set the ATA up so that QOS is turned on, but other than that I have not messed around with the settings.
Er, ah, er, probably. I'd have to check - if i can find the instructions on the 'net once more.

Good thinking, I'll give it a try.
Try looking for and disabling SPI firewall and anti-dos protection
Had a couple of netgears drop voip calls and an exact time and that fixed it it'll a work around was found
Thanks Distortion
Will disabling the SPI cause me a security problem, or is that taken care of by AV?
OK, it looks to be resolved, and thanks to all for your input.
I downgraded the router firmware and set up the SIP ALG, and now it does not drop-out.
Others on the Whirlpool forum suggested the downgrade as it had worked for them.
