Working OK - as normal for me using Firefox.

Just checked IE and still OK.

Happened to me too when I viewed the ww2 submarine photos. Managed to stop it happening by logging out and resigning back in.

Yep, me too!. Just in the process of checking why. glad to see others had the same issues... this site seems to stop responding until i click the "Yes" button to disable the script. A few minutes later the same message box appears again.

not seen it myself so cant positively comment on why this time around but i have seen similar issues on machines with flash and internet exploder.

running a util like atf-cleaner can often help

I am experiencing a new thing on the site in the last few days.
I have add ons disabled on my IE .
However , first the pages load quite slowly and I am now getting an error message " a script is causing Adobe Acrobat to run slowly. Do you want to disable the script"
If I say yes. A drop down ad comes up then goes away.

Now I am all for the site making money and I am not currently a subscriber but please administartor could you follow the same protocols that just about every other site with drop down ads follows.ie there is an"X" in the corner which allows them to be bypassed, and not force them especially since there seems to be a programming glitch that is slowing down the site

adobe flash maybe, cant see acrobat being the problem...

but then again it is probably another elitist plot to deprive you of something.

there are plenty of posts on here that tell you how to get around it.

FYI, the adverts are the same ones served out by the advertising agencies to all their clients. their servers dish them out. nothing special employed here that i am aware of but i will pass on your concerns to them and see what reaction i get.

do you know which particular advert is triggering it?

i cant get it to occur on my system at all and i am running all the major browsers at once with nary a problem.

someone has sent me a screen capture of the error and it is a adobe flash plugin itself error.

have sent it off to the ad agency to investigate

i still cant induce it on my systems so it is some sort of software issue and more than likely with the lastest version of the flash plugin itself i suspect.
