A Trojan not being a virus while tecnically true, (it is not truly self replicating) is just splitting hairs. Its like saying a whisker is not really hair.
Trojans do nastly stuff and are unwittingly transfered from computer to computer, some Trojans can forward or send themselves via email and/or messenger sevices, pretty much makes it a virus if not technically 100% true.
