    Urgent help with powerpoint

I have two powerpoint files. I have to copy some slides from 1 file and insert them in the second file. I am blocked from multiple slide copy and paste. In fact I can only copy 1 slide at a time but even then it won't come across .Jim

    Jim,

What version of Powerpoint have the two files been created in, and what version are you trying to use?

You should be able to merge them.

Heya. Check the properties (Windows) or get-info (Mac) for permissions. The source file may be locked 'view-only, no copy' or similar. Hope this helps...

How big are the 2 presentations?
Perhaps you could send them to me and I could try?

My assumption is that the file that you are trying to take slides from is saved in an older powerpoint format.
Complete your new file then save it as the older format, then you should be able to move slides across.
