    how do i draw lines on a photo using my mac

    i need to put some measurements, arrows, lines onto a photo

    You can't that I am aware of. It's a photo tool. However if you export the image from the library and open it in Preview you can add arrows, text, boxes etc and save it.

    Use the rectangle tool but with a thicker line and no centre.
