    I've joined the chosen ones!!!!!!!

Yesterday I took the plunge and bought a 24" iMac.
after years of dabbling in limux I thought it was time to move on.
the colours are just amazing. I only run a a couple of windoze apps so I have managed to get them running ok with "parallels"b as Win7 as a virtual machine.

Less desktop clutter, no big box to take up room. AH this is really heaven

Macs rock! The more you use it, the more you will discover, and the more you will be bemused by the foolish mutterings of the "anti Fan boyz"

From now on food will taste better, colours will be brighter and there will seem to be more birds singing outside your window. You just simplified your life beyond measure. Welcome to a life of smugness.

Isn't this thread just a little out of character for someone whose posts normally seem at odds with his username?

Perhaps this thread was just to soften us up for later posts more in keeping with your normal posts.

So can we look forward to later posts along the lines of, "Linux (not Limux) was free. What was I thinking spending all that money to do the same jobs I used to do for no cost"?

Windoze users cant see the world because of all the "Windows and Gates" blocking the way forward.

G'day,I too am buying an I-mac in a few weeks!,my second only computer(Iwas a late starter!),Ive allways wanted an Apple even though I know stuff all about 'puters,it seems those in the "know' allways have good things to say about them, and since most of the work I do on them is video edditing,it's a logical choice!....cant wait.
