Thread: LR-Parts app on iTunes

Don't know if anyone has seen this app on iTunes, it's owned by land rover parts shop dot com in the UK.

The app is simply called LR-Parts and at the moment is currently free to purchase

It seems to cover quite an extensive range of parts with, from what I have looked at so far, quite detailed exploded view diagrams with highlighted components being able to be clicked on for further info, most of, if not all, with actual photographs of the particular part you are sourcing.

It lists part numbers for each item, I assume it would be thier own part# so that may be redundant for cross references, and covers all makes and models like Series 3, Discos, Rangies, Freelanders and Deefers, but not quite sure to what extent each model is covered.

Thought i'd share it with ya's and see what ya's reckon.

I hadn't gone right through the app from model to model, from what I breifly looked at for the Disco 300Tdi engine(intercooler, intake pipes, radiator, cyl head, turbo, oil pump etc) most had eploded view diagrams, actual photographs etc.

Most parts that I have found to have exploded views, have a "select from diagram" option that lead onto the diagram, then with selected items (generally a boxed number) will lead onto a photograph with prices.
Some photos aren't available for every item.

Haven't gone through the whole app, so i'm not too sure how helpful it'll be for owners of different models, the app is free, thought i'd give it a crack and let everyone else know about it and get feedback from others that have already got the app or have downloaded it recently.
