Are they totally gone, or are they still in your Deleted Items box?
The other possibilities are that your system is auto archiving them, or that they are being deleted from the server.
I am running windows XP and using Outlook. All my inbox emails keep disappearing after a few days. I haven't changed any settings that I know of. How can I stop this happening? Jim

Just install Mozilla Thunderbird. Free, quick and imports your Outlook settings.
Yes but if his outlook settings are the problem....
It's not broken. It's "Carbon Neutral".

Are you downloading them locally or just reading them from the server and then the server is deleting them after they are read?
Your PST file could be damaged.
I would backup it up and create a new one.
Hi all! I am downloading them into my inbox and reading them from there. They are not showing up in any other box so I don't know where they are going. How do you check to see if they are auto archiving? Jim

I'll bet you've got filtering turned on so you only see last seven days emails.
Look at top bar of your Inbox - does it say "Filter Applied" ?
To turn it off you go to menu View > Current View and select "Messages" rather than "Last Seven Days".
I had this same problem and took me a while to work it out - I though I'd lost all my mails but they were still there, just hidden by the stoopid filter.
