Landrover EPC on disc/hd with 2002 update

    G`day ,

could be i`m the only one still using it but if not .

Mine stopped working with an error message to contact the help desk etc.

After some searching it turns out the IONA daemon license has expired .

From what i can find out it is a 2012 thing and anything using daemon licenses will be effected.

A simple short term fix is to alter the computer year date .

If set to 2010 etc because the software checks the date on computer start up it will happily run , after start up the date can be changed back to the correct date if required and the EPC will still work .

If you require the correct date , every time you want to use the EPC the year will need back dated before use .

If anyone has a log term fix i`d like to hear it ? thanks .

    Peter

I use the 10/2010 version with the available replacement .exe and it doesn't worry about what me PCs date is. I think a link to it was somewhere do a search.
I have it running on my imac via win 7 on wmware fusion ,a seach on google shows there are some 1/2011 avaiable, but d/l at your own risk.

    Are you referring to Microcat?

If so, download Microlaunch.exe. It will change the date on MC start up to that required by MC then set it back to the correct date.
