This one Car Charger 80W 12V DC Power Adaptor PC Laptop Notebook (eBay item 260592517058 end time 21-Apr-11 20:19:37 AEST) : Computing seems to be the same as the one Fraser linked to but only $12.21

Seems very cheap if it is the same.

I just read some of the reviews on 'dealextreme' regarding one of the cheap chargers which appeared to be the same as the one Fraser linked to and also my link above - some not very complementary comments and some very expensive repair bills so be warned regarding these cheapies.

Just looked at the ones Bushie uses,, are they the real model and the others just knockoffs? they look very similar.

I use a pegasus unit, it does lots of different laptops and has a single socket on the end of the cable that has a bunch of adaptors. The adaptors are labeled to suit the brand of laptop they are designed to charge and the adaptor sets the chargers voltage so unless you ham fist the wrong adaptor into the laptop you cant misscharge.
