Thread: ya gotta love pc parts,,

It had another spat last night, couldnt find the registry then straight away a disc read error, which is ok,, as its not a loss of data, it then did a hard drive check for 7 hours and only got 1 out of 3 things done,, but at least found no errors,, I re-jigged a few cables and it started ok, except it still wants to check the drive each start up,

when I was mucking around with hirens trying to reformat/partition this drive a program came up with a few errors, it didnt offer to fix them just an ignore tab,,

this is all starting to look like a voltage spike,,,

Thought your power supply was huge and not that old?

Swollen capacitors on the MB? They look like beer cans that have been frozen.
