    I have been running FF4 on the laptop for about 3 weeks (to compare performance) and have only yesterday upped the desktop to FF4 too. No problems at all. XP on both. No real difference in speed either, its probably limited by the connection I have.

    Maybe you should try a fresh install in a couple of weeks, there might have been a small problem with yours.

    My OS is Ubuntu 10.10 and my usual browser is Chromium, but I have FF4.0.1 installed and it works perfectly. Your link opened as it should.

    Perhaps this belongs in your "faulty goods" thread.
