Thread: Roland DXY-980A plotter

In a recent decluttering exercise (another one!) I unearthed a Roland DXY-980A XY plotter. Also has pens etc with it and a laminated card containing instructions on how to set the dip switches... I've had it for some 15 yrs. I have a deep aversion to trashing working but outdated technology (that's why i drive a P38)

Was wondering if there is s/w readily available to drive the plotter and whether it operates on XP/win 7...? I had searched for compatibility with various HP plotters but to no avail.

any suggestions?

I'd like to know, too. I have two of them at home.
