    Long Shot here - does anyone know anything about Macs & Sims 3?

    Hi, just thought I'd try here - the missus is really into her Sims, and has just got the new 'Pets' EP. We have been trying to install this on her MacBook Pro. Before we tried this, all the other Expansion Packs were installed and running. Went to install 'Pets' and had trouble installing it - would not work, and killed the Sims launcher. Uninstalled everything and stared again. Installed Sims 3, then 'Pets' - got this working. Now, when I try to install an EP, it seems to install ok, downloads the updates, then comes up with 'Unknown Error'. This then kills the launcher, and you cannot play anything. If you uninstall the EP that caused the problem, then Pets works fine.

    Anyone here understand all this? I don't really, but I'm trying to get it working for SWMBO.
