Oziexplorer and the Rave CD work on my old PC running Ubuntu. They don't need Windows.![]()
I have worked Macs in the print industry and like them so I have a 13inch laptop. I also have EAS unlock, Oziexplorer and have just brought the Rave CD. You might notice these all require windows so I brought Fusion and windows XP with the service pack 3.
Fusion seems to work fine and the maps look good on the 13inch screen in Oziexplorer. Rave is the problem. I pop the CD in and open up rave to get the tutorial. It is all I can get. I cannot find any other exe file on the CD. The Autorun just opens the bl**dy tutorial. Did I support the site by my purchase of the Rave CD to get a useless tutorial which tells me how to use acrobat. I already new that. Can anybody running a mac, Fusion and Rave enlighten me.
Cheers
Jim

I can confirm Rave is working fine for me in VMWare.

Hi Incisor, using Rave II, I have figured it out, I was looking at the page number telling me it was only one page but have realised that clicking on the active buttons it opens up to display much more than just the tutorial. Sorry to trouble everyone, I will try to turn my brain on first next time.

Do a search, we covered this not so long ago, were we mentioned a profram called freerave, it removes the default acrobat reader thats locked into the protected rave, then you can use it on Mac with any pdf reader, no need to run fusion, vmware, parrallels
Definitely the best option. I've put together a compilation of workshop manual electrical diagrams and tech bulletins (updated to include those published after 2002) in a PDF portfolio for my own use. It far more efficient to use than the RAVE package.Originally Posted by It'sNotWorthComplaining!
