    Backup

    Guys

I know this is a hairy old chestnut, but I have just upgraded my desktop with a new SSD and Windows 7, and I'm wondering which backup software I should be using.

Until now, I've used SyncToy with good success.
Windows 7 appears to have inbuilt backup facilities- are they any good?

I'd appreciate the opinions of those who have experience.

    Regards
    Scott

    I'm a software developer by "trade" - I have a desktop that I use
for day-to-day work and a laptop that I take away with me when
I need to. I keep the 2 machines "in sync" so I can simply pick the
LT up and go, but it is also my "back-up". When I come back from
a trip I have to "reverse sync".
I use (and have done for years) SyncBack for this.
and won't cost you a cent

    Thanks Vonkprop

That sounds good, I'll have a look at it.
