Thread: Problem with Thunderbird

Hi all. My problem with Thunderbird is that if I "reply" or "reply all" to a received email even though my response shows in my "sent items" the recipiant cant see it. Any suggestions? Jim

it is yonks since I set up Thunderbird, used it for about 4 years on Ubuntu as a trial at work. It is a stable and reliable program.
Your problems have to be in the settings, if you can send an email ok, but replying gives you problems, you will find one of the settings either hasn't been set, or you have a typo causing problems.
It should be just a matter of going through the settings carefully and checking. I suspect it will be in the SMTP settings some where.

Look here for the settings if you are using GMail as an email host.
