    IPAD 2

I have just come into possession of an IPad 2. It seems that to get any data etc out of it is via ICLOUD. Is ICLOUD accessable from a PC? This is my first foray into anything Mac.

My first Mac product too ... new iPad 3.

Try installing iTunes onto your PC. That's the way to get stuff to/from the iPad & PC.

I also use an app called Docs to go

I have a mirror of my work laptop on my iPad . You sync the two and select the files or folders from your pc to go on your iPad.

This means I have everything in the way of work at my finger tips and can email it off. And if you change or download another file to the pc or iPad then when you sync the two it will put the files in both .

iCloud is supported on Vista SP2 and Win 7.

    http://www.apple.com/icloud/setup/pc.html

    Otherwise try Dropbox.

Dropbox creates a folder when you install the app. Have a look in My Documents for a start.

What files are you trying to move? If it's office docs and you're using apples ipad suite then it only supports the cloud, other options support dropbox. Do a search for ipad office suites to see your options and what they support. Just went through this for the wifes new ipad (what will they call tghe next one?).
