    MS Word...can this be done

    I have a two page doument with a table on each page. is it possible to type into a box/cell in the table on the first page and make this text appear in the table on the second page?

    i know how to do this in excel but have the need to do it in word.

    What about inserting the excel bits into the word doc?

    you can insert an excel table into a word doc easily enough and have it repeat rows at the top of the page as per normal ;-)

    If you type value into a field and assign it to that cell then you can reference the same field again and again throughout the document.

    Actually not quite correct you need to bookmark the first table, then use a field. e.g. Referencing cells in a table - Word - Office.com

    You can for a header row on the table. Otherwise it is excel.
