Take it back to the repairer. Should only take 30 seconds to fix.
Er, not quite. I just replaced the home button my iPhone5 so I now know how much work is involved to pull one apart.

Maybe the first time, but after doing my screen about 3 times, along with a few others, a cable adjustment is 30 seconds to 1 minute tops.

Add 6 screws for a glass changeover, usually including a new home button, and its a 5 minute job.

Granted, this was on the older 3gs units, so maybe the 5 is more difficult?

the 4 and 4s would take about 10 min to fix the screen contact, changing the front screen is about an hour. no idea about the 5.

Sorry, I should have said iPhone 4. My daughter just got a 5 and gave me her 4 which needed a home button.

Too bad I have a couple of bits of plastic or rubber left over.
