    Recomended E reader

All, my kindle has expired after 18 months of solid service, I dropped it . Any reccomendations? My laptop is not used for reading as its the familys main computer , something portable with a reasonable backlight and battery light. I'm into multi tasking reading and watching tv from my favorite lounge chair.

I use my iPad with the Kindle app. The backlight is good and variable, has a good screen size where I can vary the font size enough to be able to see if I'm reading in bed with no glasses on (I'm what you might call severely short sighted )

Ipad is expensive though, a cheap Android tablet may be a better option.

+1 for ipad. Expensive, but you can use it for other things too, like surfing the net, or more importantly off-road navigation.

    Cheers,
