Not in my case. I have a work BlackBerry, not a personnel mobile phone. (I could still do it but this would not be the right thing to do). Alternatively, my neighbour is giving away his wi-fi and has been doing so for the last 8 months, I also don't use this.

Mobile broadband is miles in front of the mobile phone in my opinion. The modem is smaller than the BlackBerry so not a hassle to carry around. It's roughly 80% of the size of the phone.

Also I don't have to worry about excessive downloads. At the moment (and for the next 5 years, by choice) I'm in transit with work and when you relocate house you don't have to worry about reconnections etc.

It's on the list of things to do but I just haven't got around to it. (in fact I will do it this weekend, and probably show him how to lock it).

If you asking "don't you speak to your neighbours". The answer is "hardly ever" as I'm currently living in Rockhampton and I have found it to be a very antisocial place (compared to Brisbane). Sad I know, I thought it would have been the opposite for a large country town. I didn't think I would be saying this but I'm looking forward to leaving Rockhampton.

Looking forward to next place though (Darwin, NT). I've heard it’s quite the opposite.

    Regards
    Andrew
