Thread: Windows Updates

Win 7 Ultimate Operating System updates - I do not use auto updates to keep unnecessary crap off my computer (like different language packs etc).

When the updates I go through them and tick the ones I want and right click on the ones I don't to select "hide". However the updates I don't want and have supposedly hidden (so never to be seen again) keep on appearing in the list being offered for update and as I do not want them the list is getting bigger and bigger.

So how do I tell the system what updates that I have not selected I never want to see again - that is what I thought the hidden option was for but apparently not.

I used to hide the updates but now i dont bother, the only update i didnt want was anything for IE and oddly enough i dont see them anymore.
