Best value ISP Bracken Ridge Qld ?

Well, we bought a house ! (Will be broke now though... )

Anyway I am currently on a $60 p.m plan with internode. And they've been good but I am thinking there are probably better options out there now ?

Sadly no NBN access so will have to be ADSL2+ I presume.

    ANy ideas ?

Also - Who has a home phone bundled with internet? Why?

For several years now I haven't used a landline - making do with my mobile. I get a few big bills now and then but reckon its still cheaper than paying the extra $30 per month for a bundled landline (which uses VOIP anyway)

I've been happy enough with internode (no dramas anyway) so may just be easier to move across with them....

+1 for internode, or these days iinet they now both share the same back end infrastructure thanks to the reverse takeover

Here is a very handy search tool to find and compare internet plans:

Some exchanges aren't equipped to provide naked DSL, including mine :-(

As you may recall, I was with internode, and whilst the service was great, TPG provide me with more bang for buck IMHO.

Not necessarily. With ADSL relocations, it's virtually the same as disconnecting as reconnecting, ie starting from scratch.

Been with TPG for about 6 months, seems great.
Included home phone, (and I haven't had one for about 5 yrs), unlimited downloads, good speeds, good pricing.

I've just recommended this deal to my folks:
Broadband Internet Bundles - Phone, iiNet TV with Fetch & Mobile - iiNet

$80 for 100GB plan, line rental and ALL standard phone calls including calls to mobiles (all within Oz)

And in case you weren't aware - iiNet bought out Internode sometime back..
