    RAVE Manual on i-pad

    Hi,

I have a RAVE CD that I purchased from Dave a few years back. Whilst it works fine I no longer use a PC at home.

I'd like to avoid firing up an ageing laptop every time it need some info and would like a version that works on my I-pad. It would be nice and portable too.

Does such a version exist? And if so where can it be obtained from? After all it's just a searchable .pdf isn't it?

    Cheers,

    Ian

    Workshop manuals

    Hi.
I had the same problem. Google the Columbian land rover owners web page. The site is in Spanish but its easy to find the page titled "manuals". In there you will find what you are looking for. Most manuals are in English.
I just downloaded what I wanted as a PDF and have them all in iBooks. Try thr link below.

Legion Land Rover Colombia :::::: Bienvenidos!!

    Cheers.

Hmmm. Maybe I'm just a bit thick. I can open a PDF in Safari, but can't seem to find how to add that to iBooks.

    iBook.

That seems really complicated. While in safari I down load the relevant PDF. My iPad then asks in a little screen at the top right of the screen if I want to view in IBooks. Select yes and Bobs your uncle and Fanny's your aunt.

    Cheers.

Ok. But can you give me clue as to exactly what liberated means? I'm not very tech savvy.

Also, are the range of different manuals just combined into one huge .pdf or provided separately? and, importantly for me, is the search function (which I particularly like in the original RAVE CD I have) the same? What I really want is all the functionality of the CD version on my i-pad - that would be fantastic. One large .pdf document although good would be less useful.

    Cheers,

    Ian.
