I'm guessing it's a dud...
Aus Police? Police are state run, for example SAPOL (SA Police). The Federal Police don't call themselves Aus Police.
Might be a benign group, but I'd be avoiding them.
Some time back Google advised I needed an email address to create a Login etc. Now I am very wary of such things having had an unsavoury experience with Face Book so created a Gmail account and used its email. The system has sat relatively dormant until tonight when I received a notification that I have been added to a circle. Never seen this before.
Not worried - even though I do not have a Facebook Account I an constantly being asked to join various people's groups which I consider to be spam and ignore.
However this Google+ add to a circle was from Aus Police and clicking on that showed their pic as a cop car etc.
I am not familiar with all this - can someone please explain and any ideas (serious thoughts please) on why they would have added me to their circle? Can I ask them why I have been added and how would I go about that?
Thanks
Garry

Thanks - I don't use it at all so I guess there is no issue - just suspicious these days of social media.
