Using iPhone 4s

Access gmail and open PDF attachment. Whilst reading PDF open a new 'window' to check something. Go back to window with PDF and it goes back to the gmail screen showing received emails. To view document have to reopen again. And repeat. And repeat........

Same with other windows which were open when view them it doesn't just open what was there it does a refresh.

If I wanted it to refresh and waste my time and data I would have asked it.

Is there a setting somewhere such as 'don't bloody auto refresh and leave windows showing what was last in them'??????

Yeah I know first world problems.
