I can't find that IE11 option.Found it. Will try.

I have a bit of work to do. 10 doesn't see my USB3/card reader which is connected via the PCIe slot so my external drives aren't accessible at the moment.

It also can't see any of my printers (HP5m and HP2600n laser on the network, and one HP4630 wireless multi-function).

MS Outlook isn't fully functional. If I select Send/Receive I get the very (?) helpful message "Not Implemented". I might need to reinstall MS Office 2007.

The MS wireless keyboard isn't fully functional, the MS wireless mouse driver has been updated and doesn't support the features of the wireless mouse (that was a problem in past versions of Win, MS would update the driver and lose capability).

I don't understand! Instal Windows on a Samsung Galaxy phone? They are android devices aren't they? What has that got to do with Windows?

Sounds like you are having a bumpy run.

With the PCIe card, is it visible in device manager?

If not try right clicking the PC icon at the top and scan for new hardware. Next step I'd physically remove it and reinstall it and see if windows will pick it up.

Printers - maybe just reload appropriate drivers - mine is printing to a 2600n without a drama , just detected it on install.

Office , you could try a repair... but probably quicker to reinstall.

The only bugs I have found so far are the photo transfer within my homegroup as I reported.
Also I found that I could not download a Pdf from Gov.au on IE11 but it worked on Edge, but I could not save it on Edge as it said access denied password protected. I don't know whether this is a My.Gov problem(likely) or related to the new download of IE11.
Also IE 11 won't allow quotation marks on AULRO but maybe Edge will.

Yes it does

I have no problem with YouTube videos.
All in allWIN10 is great for me( so far).
My slow keyboard reaction when I first used Edge now seems to have been fixed.

BTW no problems with my HP3100 drivers. I seem to recall I had to do a network diagnosis to get my network computer to print.

A lot of drivers haven't been released for W10 yet. I've signed up for the free upgrade but so far my Wifi card doesn't have a working driver available and the motherboard manufacturer hasn't yet released their own drivers so I'd end up using generic ones. I reckon by end of the year the drivers should be sorted and I'll upgrade. Ill let everyone else do the hard work now ironing all the bugs out.

OK so I (wisely as it transpires) updated the laptop so I could resolve issues /learn about it before attacking the desktop.

It boots into windows 10 and the first time sort of worked for a few minutes, then rebooted.

Now I'm getting a reboot cycle - 3 or 4 times, then the windows logo - then "system thread exception not handled".

There are plenty of questions on the forums, and precious few answers.

The one thing which "may" be relevant is the mention of non-compatible graphics drivers?
How can I update those anyway given I can't get into the damn system?

Also it says it can't connect to the internet. (But I think it is).

I've done 3 of my 4 windows devices so far:

4 year old HP laptop, no problems what so ever.

Surface Pro 2 tablet, Wouldn't stay in sleep, had to disable "wake from device" for both the HID keyboard and mouse, (even though it doesn't have either plugged in).

Media PC, Nvidia driver problems, had to download driver, disconnect from the interweb, (so windows would stop automatically trying to update the driver), uninstall all things Nvidia, install the new driver.

I really recommend having a good look at the privacy settings, and change the update option to "schedule restarts" so your machine won't just randomly restart on you.
