I just bought a new HP with Win7 Pro installed over Win8 as there is no way I'll use Win8, hate it with a vengeance.
Hmm, Defender driver, refuses to use the latest software......

once you use a 3rd part app for the start menu 8.1 is pretty sweet.
never use metro
been using 8.1 on my laptop and 2nd pc for a while.
