Thread: MBR 1 error. Win 10

Finally got the second ssd to work, bootrec.exe /fixmbr worked on the forth go.

Interestingly the bios will see the original ssd but windows wont load with it connected anywhere,, yes the disc priority is right,,

I really would like my saved games back

I always thought the disk contained a backup copy of the MBR. You could rewrite the MBR in DOS using FDISK /MBR. I've done that on a number of occasions.
But windows 10. I don't know what the command is for that. My memory is suggesting something like FIXMBR in the recovery environment.
You'd have to do a bit of reading to find the proper Windows 10 command.

well it took 2 days and about 8 different programs but I managed to retrieve the info I wanted

I have since successfully formatted the drive and running HD Tune Pro get this,,

anything out of kilter here?
The error scan comes up all green,,
