    Posting photos from Windows 10

The other morning when I turned on the computer I found it had decided to install Windows 10 even though I had ignored the prompts.
It said I could reinstall 8 but it would take some time.
I went with it, and am slowly working my way through it.
With 8 if I wanted to reduce photo size I could go into edit then reduce pixels. With 10 going into edit , I cant find any way to do this.
I am an old fart and IT challenged, any help appreciated.

Re installing Windows, apparently MS is doing the same. They have been warning for a while that Win 10 will be installed on their computer.

In which application did you select "edit"?

With 8 I could press the button with the 4 window things on it then get a list.
I could select pictures, then edit etc.
With 10, I press the same four window button and dont get the same list. There is nothing with my pictures.
I get a bunch of coloured squares and one of those has my pictures rotating on it, I press that and the picture thing comes up and I can find edit there but no reduce function.

Loaded some photos this morning into the computer, now tried to upload one onto the forum. The new photos dont show up on the list to select. The latest were of a couple of weeks ago.

I assume you mean the Windows button on the keyboard.

I haven't used Win 8 but on my Win 10, pressing the Windows button brings up the Start menu.

    Thats the one.
I get a list of things down the LHS and a bunch of squares on the RHS with Calender , Mail, Twitter etc.
On the LHS there is "all apps"
I press that and get a whole lot more stuff, scroll down to near the end and find "photos"
I click on that and my last photos come up. Click on one, then on top is a "pencil".
    Hover on that says "edit"
Press and get "rotate" and others but no way to reduce that I can see.
Even though they are there, when I try to upload to a post the forum thing cant find them.

That's not an app I use and I don't know what was in Win 8 as I went from Win 7 to 10.

I don't know I it helps you, but here is what I do.
Go to the flag in the LH lower corner, and left click.
Go to File Explorer left click.

This will bring list on the LH side of the screen.
Go to Pictures, and they all should be presented in folders by month.
Open the folder you want and select the picture you want.
This should come up in a frame with options .
When you pass the mouse over the bottom RH of the frame there should be a +-.
    Regards Philip A

If your intention is to reduce the pixels by making the file size smaller then you could use one of windows programs called Paint. If you google how to open Paint in windows 10 you can then open your picture from paint and use some of the resizing features. Hope this isn't too technical.

Using Philip a,s idea of file explorer (never used it before) I managed to find where I can reduce the pixels. Thats done and the photos are in my album.
Now when I want to post them on the Forum, I go to Manage Attatchments, then the window comes up with Browse as usual, however
the pictures I put in my album since Windows 10 installed itself dont appear.
I cant get past the previous ones while "Browsing".
Yet when I go into the folder normally I can find them.
    Its a time waster
