Help identifying a usb type connector

Hi all. I need to identify this connector from my Smoothtalker S7 cradle. It is narrower than a micro Usb and the same height.

I would like to get a cable has this fitting at one end and a USB A Male at the other end that I can plug into my Anker fast charger (the smoothtalker cradle is not a fast charger (just a stock cig lighter plug) so I am keen to convert it assuming that the little connector attached can handle the amps?

    Cheers uploadfromtaptalk1471259856961.jpg

Hard to tell from the pic. Is it reversible? Could be a type C connector. Any chance of a better pic?

Its a little hard to see but if the device is a couple of years old then it may be a mini B connector rather than a micro connector. USB C connectors are the latest format just starting to appear on devices.

As the others have said.. little tricky to make out.

How many contacts does it have?

    Could it be a USB- Mini4B or USB-Mini5A ?

Thanks guys I think it might be a USB Mini B 8 Pin buy where I only need 2 pins for charging. I can get a solder USB A Male and add put that in place of the current cig plug... Or also get the Mini B female solder socket and make up my own lead. Do you reckon these connectors should allow fast charging for the s7? Cheers

I thought a USB connector had only 4 ~ 5 pins. It's a bit difficult to make out but your picture seems to show more than 5 pins.

May not be a conventional usb mini connector then.
