    Running Win 7, turned on a couple of hours ago. It seems to have stalled, displaying ....

    CONFIGURING WINDOWS UPDATES
    30% COMPLETE
    DO NOT TURN OFF YOUR COMPUTER

    It's my understanding that Win 7 being no longer supported, should not be receiving updates. What will happen if I turn off the box and restart?

    win7 still has extended support.
