NBN Provider not named. ISP Answer to slow issues. Thoughts Please
Hi All,
I have NBN service with xxxxxxxxxxxx. I have received speeds up too 50mbs. Until,a few months or more ago.
Best speed now is 30mbs.
However...speeds can be as slow as 2mbs up and down.
This is the recent reason they are now giving me....
Thanks for your email,
The reason you are getting those speeds is you are currently in "co Existence".
The Co-Existence Period can exist for services using NBN FTTB and FTTN. During this period exchange based ADSL and/or special services may co-exist on the same network infrastructure as the NBN services. In this case, speeds are reduced due to interference from equipment or network provided by other services.
So in simple terms what the NBN tell us if they were to give you full speeds then any ADSL users in your area would not get any internet.
I have provided a link to NBN directly so you can read more but I hope this provides a quick insight.

This sounds like bull**** to me...have told them that too, for me it sounds like they have not purchased sufficient bandwidth.
I also believe a neighbour who works for wiki would be using a lot of bandwidth...could that be effecting me?
Like to hear your thoughts.....o ADSL SHOULD BE TURNED OFF BY NOW BUT CANNOT FIND A Turn off date....
Apologises for hitting cap lock
