Thread: HDD errors?

I've spent a bit of time today running a few HDD's through "Hard Drive Sentinel"
this screen shot is about average of the 6 or so I tested,
It has no errors logged, "overview" and SMART both give it 100% rating,,
A couple had logged errors but still 100% rating
Can anyone explain the threshold/Value/Worst relationship?

I took a punt and reloaded win 10 on that ^^^ particular hdd,,
After I got it somewhere near how I like it I ran sfc/scannow

and yep, corrupt windows files. which it reckons it fixed--

most of the errors seem to be dual ownership of files?

I am not really concerned as I'm just mucking around with this hdd till my replacement ssd appears,,
however it would be nice to KNOW I have to bin this drive,,,
