    Laptop Starting in EZMode

Over the last 4 months my ASUS laptop has quite often been going straight to BIOS. It has gradually worsened to the point where I can't get rid of it. Early on I could just F10 it but now, no go.
The 'Repair' doesn't work either. States 'Can't find anything to boot off'.

How old is the LT, and how is the CMOS battery?

10 months old. I'm leaning toward a Windows update earlier in the year or late last year.
