    Is it Just Me?

    Hello All,

Is it just my computer having issues with Facebook and Messenger or is my network adapter on its way out? During use of either program I lose internet connection. I then have to go to 'Wifi - find available networks". Then reselect the disengaged 5G.

Also, frequently on Marketplace there is such a drag in time between a single keystroke and the letter appearing on the screen. Then, not uncommonly the connection is lost and it is rinse and repeat regarding the location and reconnection of the network adapter.

Also, the 'automatic reconnect' feature seems to be disengaged when the connection is lost. So there is no other option then going, 'Search ... Wifi Available Connections'

As mentioned previously - is my computer's network adapter on its way out. I have progressed further down the road than my starting to rather annoyed with it.

    Kind regards
    Lionel

Does it occur elsewhere or just with FB and Messenger?

I don't use either of those things so I'm of no help whatsoever.

Marketplace is the speed of their computer. Thye must have high traffic at night particularly. Keystrokes can take several seconds to appear.
I say this because I just found why my computer would not boot and turned off. It was the heat sink for the CPU being totally full of fluff. It new runs at the speed of light but Facebook is still sloooow.
